The link of mood → feeling → perception triggers a unique fragrance boost to enhance wellbeing and user experience.

Aromachology is the study of the influence of odours on Human Behaviour and to examine the relationship between feelings and emotions such as relaxation, exhilaration, sensuality, happiness and well-being brought together by odours stimulating the olfactory pathways in the brain and, in particular, the limbic system.

The word Aromachology is derived from “aroma” and “physio-psychology”. This term was created in 1989 by the Sense of Smell Institute which is a division of The Fragrance Foundation.  Defined as “a concept based on systematic, scientific data collected under controlled conditions”, Aromachology has shown that the properties of fragrances can benefit everyone and are of particular value to people susceptible to anxiety and stress.

Fragrances have the power to promote a positive mood, balance the nervous system and reduce heart rate . They can also help insomniacs and people who suffer from muscle stiffness, bronchitis, poor concentration, indigestion and high blood pressure.
